Unlike other mobile payment solutions, MICROS Tabbedout allows users to store credit card information directly on their phone, under passphrase protection, instead of on host servers. Consumers are safe from the threat of lost or stolen credit cards and can open, view and pay their tab at their own pace, and share their social experiences with friends via Facebook, Twitter and Foursquare, all within the application.
