MICROS Systems, Inc. is pleased to announce the Monitored Release of mycentral version 3.0. mycentral is the MICROS consumer facing online Food and Beverage ordering product for restaurant environments. mycentral provides restaurant operators with the opportunity to increase sales through new sales channels and introduce operational efficiencies resulting in increased order accuracy and reduced labor costs.

Built upon a flexible, robust eCommerce framework, mycentral links the Internet “cloud” to the restaurant, allowing restaurant operators to focus on operations without worrying about network connectivity details. Orders placed from any mycentral channel are sent to the restaurant and processed just like an order entered at a POS workstation. Details such as condiment handling and inventory exports are addressed in the mycentral configuration, creating a seamless workflow for restaurant staff. 

MICROS’s mycentral supports both pickup and delivery order processing, and features a flexible user interface design and content management capabilities, providing operators with the opportunity to extend their brand beyond the four walls of the restaurant. It is a scalable, multi-tenanted application designed to be centrally installed and managed in a hosting center.
