MICROS Systems, Inc. is pleased to announce the release for MICROS Enterprise Management (EM) version 5.0.  MICROS EM V5.0 is the companion release for MICROS RES v5.0 Maintenance Release 1 (MR1) and offers users the ability to use the latest generation of Microsoft® Windows® operating systems.  Customers are able to select between Windows® 7 and Windows® Server 2008 operating systems.  This release also includes upgrades for all major technology components which provide the foundation for reliability, supportability, and scalability to the MICROS RES solution and today’s restaurant owner.
